About MOEˣ

Free, private, plain-language guides and tools for neurodivergent kids, the people raising them, and autistic adults.

What MOEˣ is

MOEˣ is a free website with guides and tools for two groups: parents and caregivers of neurodivergent kids, and adults who are autistic, just found out, or think they might be.

It exists because good information about autism is often expensive, scattered, or hard to reach when you're overwhelmed. Many people want to learn privately first, at their own pace, without having to talk to anyone. MOEˣ is built for that.

What MOEˣ is not

  • Not a clinic. MOEˣ doesn't diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
  • Not a replacement for a doctor, therapist, or emergency services. In a crisis in the US, call or text 988.
  • Not a community or chat. There are no comments, forums, or messages, on purpose. Nobody can contact you through MOEˣ.

How it stays free

No paid links

No one can pay to be listed or linked. Outside links are chosen because they're useful and free or low-cost.

No accounts, no data

Free for good

Nothing on MOEˣ will move behind a paywall or subscription.

Who's behind it

MOEˣ is a free project of Hope for Americans, which builds free digital resources for people across the US. It's made in Flagstaff, Arizona. Pages are written from the perspective of autistic people and families, and every page shows its sources so you can check them yourself.

Read how MOEˣ is made for the full standards, including how pages are checked and corrected.

Contact

MOEˣ doesn't offer live help or advice. To report a mistake or a broken link, email hello@ilovemoe.com. You don't need to explain who you are, and you don't need to expect a back-and-forth.
